Keep the studio a peaceful space. Please leave quietly, and avoid talking during shavasana.
Clean Your Area
Consider bringing an extra towel to wipe down your practice area, especially if you swear a lot.
Inform the Teacher of Any Injuries
Let the instructor know about any injuries before class so they can suggest modifications if needed.
Take Breaks on Your Mat
If you need to rest, sit or lie down on your mat. Taking breaks is a sign of strength—listen to your body. Especally in your first few classes take is slow and before long you'll find it get easier.
Breathe Slowly
Breathe in and out through your nose to help regulate your breath, calm your nervous system, and control your movements.
Be Respectful
Show respect to your fellow yogis. Avoid stepping on others' mats, make space, smile, and say hello!
